Hey Everyone!!

Has everyone recovered from their case of SUMMER FEVER?

We would like to give a BIG thank you to all the individual car enthusiasts, car clubs, vendors, and spectators that came out to support Sweetie Girl Racing’s Summer Fever 2! We are proud to announce that we sold out our venue with 193 vehicles attending one of the best outdoor grass roots show & shine events hosted by Sweetie Girl Racing and Wheels Direct! This event is designed for the car enthusiast... by car enthusiasts! It is a great way to bring the hottest cars in the scene along with many of the industry's leaders together to interact as a community – no mainstream gimmicks, just about the cars and their owners.

Our event could not have had such a successful turnout with out the help and support of all the various car clubs and individual car enthusiasts that are not necessarily with a team, who have so much pride in their vehicles and teams.

We would like to thank the following Car Clubs that were in attendance:

• 24K
• Beyond Concepts
• Compression Performance
• Durham J-Bodies
• JDM Rides
• Next Mod
• R-Squadron
• Sic Ryde
• Street Dreamz
• Street Outlawz
• Team International All-stars
• Team Toyo Street
• Toronto Protégé Club
• Toronto Civic Club
• Toronto Subaru Club
• Toronto Paseo Club

and some we may have missed!

We would also like to thank the following Vendors:

• Wheels Direct
• IKON Wheels
• Street Concepts
• M.Y. Racing
• Teknotik
• Defcon/ART
• SLC Models
• Drift Ops
• Vibrant Performance
• Seamline
• Grand Prix Kartways

We would like to thank our Judges:

• Donovan Griffin (Vibrant Performance/J-Team)
• Tajai Das (Top Tuner)
• Edmund Manasan (Racemode/Top Tuner)
• Vito Ianniciello (Seamline/Top Tuner/Ruff Riderz)

We would also like to mention that $850 of the proceeds from this event will go towards
Sweetie Girl Racing’s CIBC “Run for the Cure” donation goal of $2000 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Please visit www.sweetiegirlracing.com for all the Summer Fever Highlights along with a list of the Award winners. We look forward to having everyone out next year to help further grow our event with more Award classes, more grass roots competition, more entertainment, more hot weather, and most importantly – MORE FUN!

Don’t forget that the 6th Annual SGR Charity Car Wash and Dyno day is on July 6, 2008 at Magnus Motorsports in Concord. This is a full annual charity event so the more cars we wash and dyno, the more funds we can raise towards CIBC's Run for the Cure. This year will feature an ALL WHEEL DYNO! For more details or to register for a dyno spot, please visit our website at www.sweetiegirlracing.com.

Thanks again, and we will see you at the Car Wash!

It was a good show and the weather was hot. But not all cars got judged and I am not talking about the ones that left early. Is there a reason behind that?

How did the award ceremony go after the rain?

Thanks.

Well, during the ceremony they said that all the cars got prejudged before 12 pm. Then they went into a room to discuss it, and then went out again and judged the cars. So, they didn't need to judge the cars.

That being said..
