Seafoam and E test confessional

Well, it's been 2 years since my last etest. I barely passed 2 years ago, here were the approx. numbers.

HC Limit 75 Reading 71
CO% Limit 0.42 Reading 0.37
NO Limit 576 Reading 572

Now since then, I have maintained my car very well. Yes I have been faulty and idled too long here and there.

I've also had that misifiring problem that Bbarbulo, LordM, and a few others helped me figure out.

TWO YEARS LATER

E Test Result

HC Limit 75 Reading 52
CO% Limit 0.42 Reading 0.14
NO Limit 576 Reading 569

My emissions have gone down??????

There is one thing that I did differently this time around.
SEAFOAM!!!!

about 1/2 deep creep sprayed through vacuum line in IM
bout 1/3 a can in crankcase
bout 1/3 can in gas tank.

Oh and 94 Octane full tank.

No BS here, did the Seafoam help me that much?

ABSOLUTELY!! Seafoam is ONE 'additive' that is truly the real deal! It's no bull****, no fancy packages, no coloring, no nothing. It's pure petroleum and it dissolves varnish and carbon deposits safely. I actually plan to run water/alcohol injection in my engine eventually so #1 the water helps lower combusion chamber temps and prevent pre-ignition, and #2 the steam actually steam cleans my cylinders and further reduces detonation by preventing carbon build up and hot spots. The water injection will activate upon 4.5V from the TPS (so WOT) and RPM > 4500 rpm I think (I'll use an MSD shift light pill to activate it)

I don't know if I'm supposed to do this, but this is where I got my seafoam. So many peeps are pming me about it.

I have yet to find a Seafoam retailer on the westend.

Automotion Parts Inc
316 Painted Post Drive,
Scarborough, ON
M1G 2M3
416-431-5612

Remember, although I changed my oil every 5000 with Mobil 1 since the car was at 60,000km, my car ran the etest 2 years ago at 223,XXXkm. Now my car is at about 273XXXkm.

I am in no way endorsing seafoam, I'm just letting peeps know that it helped me.
