what i don't understand is that they went through all that trouble to steal his rims????
his engine, cluster, exhaust, and everthing else is still there
all that work stealing it and all they took were the rims and subs?!?!?

i think it was an insurance scam

... they fit on other makes of Civic that aren't SiRs (DX and Si owners that want to make their rides look like an SiR....you guys are LAME!)
This line pisses me off... some people (like me) don't have the extra 10G to get an SiR, so we build it one step at a time...

Not only does this guy sounds like an insurance scam, but he sounds like a mouthy *****!

If its not its total amature work.

If they could have taken the car, it would be stripped completely and the chasis would be smushed into a cube...

There are TONNES of parts left on that car:

SIR Brakes, Strut Bar, Sway Bars, Seats, Leather Shift ****... ETC
To name a few!

If you look at the interior pic of the passenger side, the carpets not even lifted up to access the ECU!!!

SCAM SCAM SCAM

Its because of ****** like this, we have such high insurance.

I dunno about scam. I heard this story a while back on clubsi. Sounds legit to me. Also the guy put a club on his car and they cut thru the steering wheel to get it off. If it was a scam why bother going thru all the trouble of doing that?

Thats why its called a scam, to make it appear as if they were going through a lot of trouble to steal it.

Any dude with a hack saw and cut through a steering wheel in less than 10 seconds, then your clubs gone.

There are far too many cherry parts on that car for it to be legit.

Don't look at whats missing, look at whats still there.

to make it appear as real as possible.... althought they still didn't do a good job

well given the benefit of the doubt, it sucks to be that guy obviously, but his attitude on assuming that ALL other non SiR drivers out there are out to teef his ****...is just wrong :fustrated

Angry

Well, I am not going to go through the usual swearing and yelling about how people should just leave other people's ride alone...but that is sad. The only thing I am sure of is that they will punish one of these days.

Wow, for a guy that drive a Green Sedan, you're all about punishing people...

You should come to a mosh pit with me, we'll get some of that punishment out

You'll feel like a million and a 1/2 bucks afterwards

It has nothing to do with aggression. Just like you, I work hard for a living and when you see someone else take something away from you (whether it is an emblem or the entire car) it irritates me. That is all. I am sure that other cars get stolen, but it just seems like Civics are targeted more.

*HUG*

I know, it sucks, we all feel it...

I think it sucks that the first thing I do every morning is check to make sure my car is still there.

Beware of thieves...
They watch us everyday as we drive past them...
We park in the same parking lots...

Thats a harsh reality, but let them steal the time inside your mind.

I know where you are coming from. The caps on my tires have been stolen 4 times already . Just the air vent caps but still it is very annoying . If i get a hold of the people or persons I am going to hurt them :fustrated
