Rusting Exhause
So i've had my exhaust for almost 2 years now... and never had a problem with it... its a tanabe racing medallion, anyways last few warm days i decided to clean my car really well and there was black road tar whatever buildup specks on the tip....
the mistake I made was I used a wire brush to clean it off. I just assumed since it was stainless that it wouldn't be a problem.
Now a week later it's rusting.
is there anything I can do to fix this? like clean the rust off and spray it with some high temp clear somthing if that exists? so it doesn't rust again or am I ****ed?

i'm sure you could get the rust off, but i have no idea how you'd keep it from rusting in the future, seems like it was just coated with stainless i'm sure you could get a clear to cover it with but i donno if there is something like a rust inhibitive clear coat though...
you must have really been scrubbing to get down that deep
