I would go for the RSX Type-S

That crash rating photo is quite good, the cockpit looks fine, for the Mini of course.

It is gonna be tough to ask for opinions on what cars to buy, everyone has a different opinion. Regardless problems, a car is a car, it is a hunk of metal and not made out of paper. Little things will happen down the road, like rust, electrical, this and that. Just take the "car" for what it is worth and enjoy it.

I tend not to think too much about these problems when I buy things like for instance, a car. Just like eating certain things will cause cancer but that's after an huge *** amount of injestion, not just one tiny sample portion. Whatever she likes, just buy it. If she dislikes it later down the road, get rid of it.

Sorry for being offtopic.

What n1_taboo is right? European don't make that much of a good cars if u are talking about maintenance wise. They are fun to drive. If u are leasing the car or something it doesn't matter about maintenance wise. RSX Type S has tranny problems i believe. Mini cooper is fun to drive though, the design is still not good like the power windows and locks are all in the center. I hate that. I also don't like the gauge cluster on the mini. I would say go for the RSX type S or just RSX, but i would go premium if i was u. It looks cool when i see a girl drive a RSX, i see some girls are HOT too when they drive that car. That's my opinion.

If u are leasing and don't plan to keep the car in the next few years then see what price u can get out of the 2 and whichever is better then pick that 1 haha.

i've driven all the mini's in the mini cooper all track test drive. and i've been in a rsx-s mini was a super dissapointment. rsx-s feels fast and the rsx-s feels fastier. RSX-S all the way

the mini cooper S is a decently fast car...it has something like 170 Hp with 168 lbs of tq....so that is decent....but the RSX just looks somewhat classy still...the mini looks like a clown car no matter how u look at it...lol

I as well see a lot of girls driving the RSX... WHere I work 3 women in design have them, so yeah. I am bias and I love Honda products so I have to say RSX... The mini is just a status symbol/fad like the Bug.
