wat types of cages r street legal?

Nova_Dust 29-Sep-2004 11:01 PM

No cages are street legal, all cages are for off road use.

imported_gatherer 29-Sep-2004 11:30 PM

cages yes off road use only .... roll bars are ok for the street....

on a side note there is no law against having a cage on the street...

punkindrublic 30-Sep-2004 01:57 AM

i thought they were illegal if the bars came to the front? cause your head could smack off it and you'd be ko'd?? unless you wanna drive your car with an approved helmet all the time? :shrugs:

if you look at the HTA there is nothing against them... however I'm sure an officer could find something to charge you with if they wanted too...

the difference between a cage and roll bar is the cage has bars forward of the main hoop a roll bar doesn't...

once again though I highly recommend only driving a cage with a cage in it with an approved helmet...

Nova_Dust 30-Sep-2004 08:45 AM

Sure you can drive with a helmet on everyday, why not?

because unless your driving a motorcycle that is illegal...

Oh come on, it will be fun! It is for people who don't care about having a hat hair day all year round!
