as long as you're ok.

let's hope for the best regarding ur careless driving thing.

to be honest, the car was ugly anyway. u really messed up the paint and body on that. but props for the diy attitude.

man. it sure does suck losing a car and not being able to drive because of a sky rocketting insurance rate.

anyway back on topic. take it to court. good, u've got a lawyer. cause that's a big charge. be honest, and explain exactly what happened. the patch of water etc. because they prolly gave u the ticket based on ur car's flashy paint etc.

Thanks guys...

im having a rough night so i dont know that i will be able to comment on the situation anymore.... and im trying to keep a low profile for obvious reasons so if people can prevent the picture from flowing all over the internet that would be appreciated....

go to court and get the ticket postponed to upmost latest date possble and when that date comes make another postpone for some important reason couple days prior u have to appear ...then when u do finally go make sure u make ur lawyer have all the weather documentation in check ie weather channel to back up ur case and then state ur financial situation , and ur age, and minimal amount of driving experience and in this situation that u could havent made any better judgement in controlling the vehicle and that this charge will affect your future akademic sp? lol situation in that with increased insurance premiums and such u will have no opportunity to go to school ... get the idea. hope u can get it postponed enough that u have some cheaper insurance driving. til u have to go. best of luck to u man and glad to hear u come out of the accident .. personally had something similar but there were four of us in the car and i was lucky when i hit the guard rail @ 120km in the rain i didnt kill anyone or my friends but *** was i a mess after that for awhile.
Goodluck cheers
Nick

actually... the engine is alright... i just need to retap the drivers engine mounts for larger screws cuz they pulled out...
it will be 100% useable no cracks and it never ran 1/2 a second after the crash because the dizzy cap broke, so it didnt overheat and warp anything... if i threw on a diff battery it would start
