hell no, it's lame.
unless it's a stock luxury car.
i'm not surprised w/ the votes though. half the ppl here are on stock height and are trying to defend themselves.
tuner cars imo look nicer lowered, even on oem rims. 3 series, a4s, g35s, etc.

im still debating to lower my sedan which is rolling on after market 16" wheels. does the cost involved to lower and perhaps put it back to stock height during winter make sense....i mean...just for the look of it.
A simple setup would include:
Good quality springs: $250
Cost of Install: $150
Front camber kit: $200-$250
Thats a round about price of over $600...and all u get is just the look. I know the lower centre of gravity thing but come on...you are not driving on track...for mostly city driving and highway...does it make sense to spend that much money???
And yeah...i havent mentioned coilover kits...with that you pay more.

you can get an assembly.. fully intact with loweirng springs ans shocks for like 500.. and keep your stock assembly intact.. then in winter swap them out ..thats what i plan to do.. if i do decide tot lower again.. but
another question : i have already lowered the car in the past..i went back to stock height .. is it a stupid move to do it all over agian?

I swapped the suspension on my 98 a few times. I was worried about the winter one year, so I put the stock springs back in. The next year I put in Koni's and replaced the springs again. My 03 is probably going back to stock height until I decide to keep it or not once the lease is over. My 06 is getting a gentle 1" drop until next year when more suspension parts are available. If you have the tools and can DIY, I don't thinks its a big deal to change it often.

personally for me its always suspension first then wheel/tire combo. depends on the car sometimes i cant stand looking at a car with rims and it looks like a freakin monster truck. so no rims! go 4 suspension first! its more fun to drive anyway
