Soooo... since I am a new standard driver, I have been learning all about revving past 3000 RPM's to go quicker, faster.

The other day I decided to get up to the red line, and I think I hit the rev limiter because my car jumped a bit.

Is this bad for my car at all?

its a rev limiter so you dont pretty much blow anything in your engine. your fine just dont practice doing that.

And don't keep bouncing off the limiter too cause that will inflict prolonged damage.

Your poewrband doesn't nessecarily go to your rev limit... so you'd be 'faster' shift sooner. They only time I've ever hit my rev limited is on sandy pavment... but my limit is 8500+rpm... Type-R FTW

Don't drive like that... it's annoying.
