renting a hoist

i may need to rent an engine hoist in a couple weeks and need to know if canadian tire rents them out or part source or anywhere and if you get all your money back or not.. i know crappy tire gives all the money back for tool rentals

you can rent mine. Just make sure you bring it back in one piece... and pick it up and deliever itt

why not for free? maybe some kind of deposit so he doesnt run off with it, but its not like hes using something thats gonna wear out over time.

rent him yours for free then.

You won't be able to find any store that will rent a hoist for free. CT and part source don't rent cherry pickers. Call an industrial tool rental place, they will rent them, thats where i've rented them from before. But its not free, more like $40 a day or so, plus they hold a deposit from your credit card.

princess auto has them and if our really poor you can refund them within 1 year even if used.

i dont care about 40 bucks i can pay that. iv heard home depot rents them , anyone ever heard this?

theres no princess auto near me i dont think. i live at jarvis and bloor and will be doing this in scarborough

theres one in mississauga by on dixie. They're really cheap. Pick up a engine hoist and cherry picker at the same time

whats the difference from an engine hoist and a cherry picker? thought they were the same. mississauga is kinda far to pick up an engine hoist. i'll call some places tomorrow then.

i just searched a bit on how to remove the engine from the bottom.. and it seems like its so much more work than using a hoist..
i also searched on here for any posts on renting hoists and one post said crappy tire did rent them. either way im gonna have to find one.
