question about SiR rims

hey guys whats up!!!
how are ur babys (cars) doing in this messed up weather lol ?

anyways i was thinking about maybe getting myself some SiR rims.. i think they will look pretty sexy on my black Civic maybe even painted gun metal.. i dono

but nevertheless do you think i should purchase them brand new from a honda dealer? how much do u think they want for them?

because most of the ones ive seen second hand.. they seem pretty decent but for the price i dont know.. ive checked out a couple and i see dings, scratchs, scuffs, chips and the price is still quite high... and iam one who enjoys everything fresh and clean

:bling:

but iam just wondering how much do u think honda will charge for new SiR Rims..

any input on the SiR rims or maybe u guys think another type of rims would look nice.. plz post..

thx a bunch guys...

If you have the money to spend, then buy them brand new....but you'll have to wait a while for them to come in probably...and they are quite expensive.

Most of the second hand SiR rims on the boards are in good shape...mine were in great shape, and I bought mine second hand.

Most people take really good care of their SiR rims (and rims in general)....I took care of mine, because I love finish of OE wheels....and they also have high resale value...i sold mine in like 1 day.

If you get them, new or used, don't put Michelin XGT4 tires on them...they are really bad tires, in wet or dry.

IF you are going to powder coat them gun metal than you can always have them refinished at the same time. It would be cheaper to buy used and have that done.

SiR rims are soooooo passay !!

LOL
Getting a new set of SiR rims from the dealer would be close to $2300 with rubber.

Why would you though???
There are some SWEEEET rims out there that you can buy brand new for wayyyyyyy lessssssss.

And plus YOU would be ORIGINAL!!!

I have my SiR's and I love them.
I say get them used. Just look around and be patient. Took me like 3 months to find mine though.

Are the Michellin XGT4 the stock tires that come in the SiR's? If so I find them pretty good. Then again mine have like 90%+ tread on them.

i can't wait to get SIRs again :)

I suggest you pick them up used, thats how I got the ones I have on my EL. There are for sale posts selling them all the time, so you are bound to find a set in good shape for a hell of alot less than the dealer will charge you.
