PSI my bike??

I'd like to see if you guys have opinions about this. The notion seems a lil crazy to some people. I've asked a few people at work and all have pretty much told me I'm completely nuts but, please give me the benefit of the doubt. Most of you know that I just bought a brand new CBR and just yesterday, she's past her breaking in point. Since my EP and my brother's DC5 are boosted, I was thinking about boosting my Repsol CBR1000RR...any thoughts?? Yes, No, Maybe?

If you got the money. Do it. There must only be a handfull of Guy's on the planet with Boosted 1litre Honda's. Let alone a Repsol Replica. You'd probably be the First

I have to say no. I like boost and all, but on a bike.... I think N/A is the way to go for bikes.

Definately No!

If you aren't satisfied with the power/speed of your repsol, then try skydiving for fun...lol.

I dunno how you can handle so much power haha. I only ride a 250cc GP bike lol. litre bikes just make me **** my pants. But if you can handle all that power then go for it.

If you can handle the power and keep the front wheel on the ground then do it up!

as a side, check out this vid of a Suzuki Hayabusa with a turbo..

You are nuts. There I said it. That being said, I only know of one person who has boosted a bike and that's my buddy Darien and it's on a R1. And it's DAMN fast. I'm not sure if the roads in Japan will accomodate a boosted bike. At least here, the roads are long and wide and turns are gradual. I can't imagine how it would be like in Japan.

Just my 2 cents but, hey, whatever rows your boat right?

Cheers,
Buddah.

My vote is for "no". I think turbo lag would be more pronounced in a motorcycle.

I had a 'Heisei gannenn' CBR250 when I lived in Tokyo and it was fast enough for me, a CBR1000 should be fast enough for anyone in Japan.

What about 'shaken'? I think there would be issues with that if you had a turbo...

BTW, there have been OEM Turbo motorcycles... Take a look...

If your a casual street rider and do the odd trackday, 150rwhp should be plenty I would think.
Unless your competitively dragracing your bike or involved a contest of testosterone with money to burn I'd definately have to say no. Practicality is Nil.
