Problem with my bro's 94 Teg
It's a 94 automatic Teg....this started last night. There's some kind of grinding noise when he's in park and in Nuetral, however, when he puts it in any of the drive gears, it's fine and he is able to drive...has anyone else had this problem?

I'm not sure about the nitty gritty details of a teg, but it might be the head shield. That's the problem I had. My heat sheild came loose and rattled at idle rpms (park, neutral) but I zip tied it back up and the sound is now gone!

thanks for the replies, but I figured out the problem...it was his remote starter that was causing this. Appearantly what happened was when he would turn his key to the second position, the car would start when it should only be the on position. So I tried starting his car with the remote, and the sound went away. Then I put the key in, waited 5 seconds, then shut down the engine. I then turned the key to the second position again, and everything was fine. The engine light came on without the engine starting. Guess he needs to check out his remote starter.
