Problem.....Affiliates help ??????

Heres the situation,

I want to send my Koni yellows back to koni to get them to look at them because I think that they are blown, or something is wrong. The thing is, in order to get their warranty, I will need a purchase receipt. I bought the car with the Koni Yellows and I never received a receipt for the koni's when I got the car. Anyone know anyone that is able to help...very much appreciated..

I thought you also need to buy another set of koni's when you return these and they will then depending on if its approved for the warranty work refund you the money.

somebody correct me if I am wrong here.

No receipt... I don't know if it will work unless you borrow a receipt from someone who had purchased a set of Koni from one of the affiliates.

Not sure if that will work.

As for most things you need a recipt from the place of purchase. Also Koni will require that the place be an authorized distributer for their products. Now most places buy them through another distributer such as Keystone or JRP etc. The retail location would then send them back to the distributer who would inturn deal with Koni.

Example Koni>Keystone>Canadian Tire>You so you would have to go You>Canadian Tire>Keystone>Koni to get warrenty.

As for the buying of another set first we suggest this so you are not out of a vehicle while you are returning the blown ones. Ie buy new ones take them home install them and bring us back the blown ones and we'll refund your money for the new ones.

I hope this all makes sense!

No but I do buy core parts from them such as coilover inserts and other unbranded parts direct.

Is there a way you can contact the person you bought the car from to see if they have the receipts?

happy is barely on the boards.....dan you around ?

That's one of the problem with purchasing used parts - no receipt (well not all the time, but most of the time).

JRP wouldn't sell me Rays wheel stickers because I have no receipt, regardless of their authenticity.

If Dan kept the receipts, he would have given them to you at the time of the sale, no? I am just thinking out loud here.
