Princess Auto in Hamilton is holding a hot rod vs import car show on Sat. June 21st for their celebration sale. It's an event to raise money for the Princess Auto Foundation, which supports career development in the technical trades for young people.

There is going to be a trophy for best import, best hot rod, and best of show. Space will be limited, so the event will be a sort of invitation only event. What I need is 3 cars from TCC to rep the Civics for this event. If you are interested, please start a list and post your name. We will then vote for the top 3 cars, which will be entered in the event.

Everyone is welcome to come out to the event, however, but space is limited for the car show, because of parking demands. There will be live music, food and the chance to beat a car with a sledge hammer or axe for $2 a whack.

2$ a whack lmao good idea to make some cash! Last show i was at we blew up a chevy van witha brick on the gas peddle and placed bets now that was fun! we also had a piston toss compition, corn roast,live band,and flame throwing comp. that was sick!!!

It is still almost 2 months away. We will get some people to come out ,but the show schedule is pretty jammed up this summer so I can't make a decision yet.

That pretty much goes for a lot of the members here. There is a pre-set schedule for quite a few of the paid members as well as the non paid, and I know that weekend has at least two shows coming up.

It's going to be whoever is available, so keep the thread going, I am sure there will be some people interested in going.
