if you bent the bar, the impact gun will break the stud guaranteed

watch out you dont damage anythign else if you use the heat

impact gun wont nessessarily break the lugs, put the setting on low and work the lugs a bit at a time untill they finally move

wow the bar bent ..... well I ain't coming over just to break your studs then... sorry dude but I don't wanna be held responsible ...

I know you'll say "but i won't hold you responsible" but hey that doesn't matter I'll hold myself responsible...

I recommend taking it to a shop

I also recommend investing in a torque wrench ... 80 foot lbs are all ytou neeed,.... not impact gunned till the sun don't shine

Honda actually has a torque scale that goes on the end of the impact gun, so you can use your impact gun to tighten your lugs, as soon as it reaches 80 ft/lbs it slips not allowing it to go past 80

good investment if you do alot of wheels.

anything over 80 and you risk breaking your studs

yep

most shops just booom booom and throw the lugs back on, and dont bother to torque em down to proper specs

dude, are u sure ur not tightening?? lol...fack! I've heard many stories of people bending bars and tire irons and snapping lugs cuz they were tightening instead of loosening...like how tight did you put them on that would make em not wanna come off? 800ft/lbs?

doesn't take much cynikal...did it to my car on one stud and I didn't even feel like I used much force when I last tightened it. Basically now I just tighten a tiny bit after i feel some drag in the nut. Still didn't buy a torque wrench

wow...I've been working on cars for a lil less then 15 years and never broken a stud off...man, thats toyt!!! lol I wouldn't suggest using heat...heat often warps the shape of the stud and you might just have to replace the stud anyways after you take it off cause the threads on the stud are all off. Try some penetrating oil...let sit for ten minutes and try turning it again...try for about a minute and spray again. If that doesn't work, use an air gun and loosen and tighten the bolt a few times and hit it fast to loosen...that might work...

But, wow...that's crazy...I've stood on tire irons to tighten and loosen bolts on a few cars who need tire replacements because they had a blow out and never had any trouble getting them off...and I'm 300 lbs....lol

Geez, well, good luck with it.

Cheers.

Bolts usually do not seize up in the threads within the lug nuts...they usually seize when the pressure between the tapper of the nut and the rim is so great, the nut will not turn because the friction between the nut tapper and the rim is too much to move...if you spray penetrating oil in there, it may give it just enough lubrication to reduce the friction and let it move.
