yeahwhat shlammed said, it runs 10's with a full out race slick and a 150 shot......and u can drive a 10 second daily driver easily...my uncles got a 67 beaumont that runs high 9's which is his daily driver, just cuzz u can't aford to put gas in a 10 second car dont mean it cant be daily driven....so with that being said stop with your dumb uneducated comments and learn a thing or two. go play with your ugly neon green car and dream about breaking into the 15's.

Get use to the looks. Every one does as soon as they hear it. Enthuisists and non enthuisists alike. There is nothing like driving real muscle. (Or in my case, topless too)

I also sent you a pm with some info.

Hmm with all this interest in getting a stang with some of you posts, I think I am going to post my buddy's 85 T-top street/strip in the classifieds for him, since he is selling it. Check the classifieds for more info ppl. He's asking $4500 OBO

Also, I think your car is an 11 second daily driver. You won't be running slicks and the bottle on the road so its safe to say 11 seconds, but who the hell cares, its a fuggin bad *** car, I've always wanted one but they're too expensive and insurance is crazy. Also get some new headlights or sand the ones you have to give them that clear look, they're all clouded and don't look nice.

Ive had a lot of people ask me if my car was brand new... cuz it doesnt LOOK old.... the style of it and the condition...

IMO: I consider anythin older than 92 to be OLD cuz they make most of those cars with squareish headlights that always have this ugly frame like thing around it (cant explain) they just sink into the car instead of just being at the same spot of the rest of the car.. just the old 80's look... hey if YOU like it thats cool.. but me personally I dont like the 80's everything that came out of that decade is ugly (cept myself of course )

Buddy, they are much cheaper on insurance then civics. I know, thats why I got rid of my civic. I am paying half on what I was paying for my civic. My broker explained it to me, if your under 30 and drive a civic and not married, they automatically assume your street racing it. I don't mean to be all against civics, but when you read every story about street racing accidents and fatalities, it always involves a civic and not a stang. PM if your really interested and I'll give you my broker's number and u can check insurance prices on stangs. And see my thread in the buy and sell forum for the pic of my buddy's car for sale if your really interested.

BTW the 92 and 93 mustangs are the same exterior from 87. Cory's stang (minus the rag top) looks like mine, and I have a 91, just slight interior changes and my engine came stock with mass air and in 88 they didn't come with mass air
Its the same basic design and platform from 79 called the Fox body, and after 25 years of the same platform (Yes the 03/04 SVT 400 HP cobra is still a fox chasis, just with IRS) the 05 is a completly new platform.

I apoligize if i sounded rude i wasnt knocking your car, I have owned 4 fox body stangs, a Capri RS and i have a stack of Muscle Mustangs And Fast Fords probably taller than you. They are My favorite car and have been since i was a kid. So please dont assume i am ignorant or mis-informed Its just that every stang in the city runs 12"s or better. Except the ones that have actually been to the strip. I think every mustang i ever bought the owner claimed it went 11's 12's whatever. They just could never seem to find time slips, but thats no surprise. After you hang around mustang crowds for awhile you just learn to listen to it. To clarify i have gone 15's in a stock stang wouldnt you know, ive also gone low 13's in a mildly modded stang and ive even gone for a ride in a 10:50 blown coupe. Ive been around stangs and the aftermarket world of the 302 for awhile. So i do know what a 10 sec car looks like, feels like and how much money it would cost approx to go into the 10's. Your car to me just doesnt fit the description of a 10:40 car.
1) I dont know about anybody else here, but i know if my car went 10:40's i would have some damn proof for sure to brag.
2) If my car dynoed 600 frigin mule, then i would have saved the dyno chart. To get a car into the 600 HP range and sprayin the thing, you need to have some serious tuning time on a dyno. Should be lots of extra sheets kicking around.
3) If your going 10:40's youve definetely experimented with suspension. Judging by the way your car sags it has stock components that have been hammered and launched to death.
4) A 10:40 car would most likely have an aftermarket shifter, cause everyone knows T-5's throw 3rd like crazy. Especially when you get over the 325 350HP range.
5) It looks nicely butchered up, the hood, dech kit, mangled interior, homemade cell, nitrous looks like it was hooked up with extra stereo wire.
6) I cant see if the cage is welded or bolt in, looks kinda bolted but a 6 point is minimal and IHRA requires it to be welded with no grinds on any welds if its going those times.
7) My stang runs 13:2's with 3:55's, mild bolt ons. It doesnt get gas mileage like you describe. Weird.
Anyways enough, the car obviously has some work done to it, and im sure its quick and real loud in comparison to your CRX or whatever you had. It may very well be a high 12 car and maybe high 11's with juice, and maybe the guy told you the kit could be adjusted and the car will go 10's, whatever the case. To make a statement that your car has 600 HP plus Nitrous in reserve is quite bold without any documentation. Im sure you can expect some doubt. Judging by your other posts, you seem to be a butcher type guy anyway. Think i saw a post about you spray bombing your car with cans. wow. It also seems you like to continuously swap vehicles, not cause your gullible and believe everything a person tells you. Just for the hell of it. So to correct my statement, it is definetly possible to run a 10 sec daily car. I apoligize for making it seem like it cant be done. Practical no, but it can be done. I seriously do not think your car runs that, but if it does then i guess go get a time slip and ill shut up. Till then dont make your self sound uneducated. Im not going to continue to argue, i shouldnt have opened my mouth to begin with. I apoligize if i offend you, just my opinion.

Heres a link to a couple of pics of my 88, just so you know i am most certainly not a pony hater.

The guy he bought the car from showed him all the timeslips. And as for the gas thing...that was a one time thing...he spent like $120 gas in the first week he had it. The cage im pretty sure is all welded in. The nos is hooked up properly. The interior is fine and so is the body...the hood just has to be painted. Other then that theres just a few dings.

I'm not saying you're offending him I'm just saying like, I don't know where you get the idea of a butchered interior etc when it's all nice and clean. I live across the street from him and see it all the time and have driven in it. The thing is pretty scary.

Maybe those pics dont do it justice then, looked like the back carpet was cut apart, the back seat backing hanging off, Gauges look sorta hacked in but like i said i dont want to argue. Later.
