i picked up an 81 civic today, 2dr, 1300, manual (whether these are 4 or 5spd im unsure), i was just wondering if anyone knows any parts resources or forums for these things? or if anyone knows of any upgrades that can be applied from other hondas? sorry about asking all the questions, but im honestly curious, thanks!

ps. do any other members own a g1 or 2?

1981!!!!!!!!! good luck finding parts, but that thing is rare... i've seen only a few around the roads... 1-9-8-1...
actually there's this guy who owns one and drive his kid to school everyday with it, which is from the apt my gf lives... so i see it very often, but then i dun see many different people with one on the road...

I would assume you could order parts from NAPA.

They're always ebay for parts.

all depends on what parts you need...repair parts (brakes and such) are available...now as "performance" type stuff u may have issues with along with body and trim pieces...if I could find one in nice shape I would grab it

yeah, i badly need a passengers side fender, surpirsingly the floors are pretty good, it needs new rockers, and lots of interior crap, but meh, it was practically free, it was from out west at a point, i got all excited when you said you had one red fury, but the pic was dissappointing lol....come one, someones gotta know something about them....

i guess for the body work, u'll be customizing lots of stuff urself... once that car is in showroom shinny condition... bring it to shows... u're one old school winner for sure! i would love to get one of those if i see one that doesn't have floor holes... =)

rocker panels are available from crosscanadaparts.com it seems winnepeg has them in stock...about 64bucks a side...interior is gonna be tough as hell to find tho

pics will be up shortly, thanks for the help cynikal, its good to see some people here who appreciates old school goodness, im thinking of just kindda going "resto mod" to keep costs down, im thinking about making some rockers, and spraying it in flatblack, and ive got an old monza muffler, and some old pontiac acadian 4 spoke 13x6 steelies, and about the interior, im thinking of modding in some front seats from an 84 prelude, and maybe somewhere down the line make some aluminum door cards, but then again, maybe i should start focusing on one project at a time, btw: anyone want a rabbit gti?!
