People need to get their priorites straight when they sell something..

"i would like to buy these off of you tommorow please leave me a number so i can call you and meet up i've been trying to buy sir rims for like 2 weeks just alot of dead beat sellers that don't want to sell their stuff i don't want any run arounds if your serious in selling i'm serious in buying"

thats pretty straight forward don't you think? i don't mean to be sour or anything but when you wanna buying something locally you should just be able to call arrange a time and go get it. i've met up with no shows and dead beat sellers too many times if you don't wanna sell and aren't ready to sell don't post..i think some rules should be made for the selling section as far as having a proper post like one should be a PRICE not make me an offer and get upset when you get low-balled....number two you should be to leave a phone number and time we can reach you at or even an email address so we can meet up on msn on a designated time make the selling and buying process alot easier and stress free. people if you understand me drop a line.

This happens everywhere and not just limited to here. I've been trying for weeks to sell some DDR RAM and had a lot of real low ball offers like some guy from Montreal wanted all my ram sticks for $5 including shipping.

Really bud, the best you can do is do a check in the feedback form and use it yourself if someone flakes on ya.

there are rules for posting a price
people dont leave numbers cuz bots steal stuff like that and spam you
email addresses are usually available when u click the "email" link
PM sellers and ask for numbers etc
leave feedback in the correct forum for any people you have had bad dealings with

personally I havent had any issues with sellers and being a seller on here...you can usually tell...keep in constant contact with the seller/buyer so you are both on the same page

sharing my personal experience: most likely people who flake are selling something stolen and they get nervous at the drop of a hat, good luck getting a phone # out of a seller that is selling something hot. i've heard there are a lot of stolen parts being sold in toronto. a couple years ago someone was selling my stolen wheels on this very site.

i agree, the rules in the classifieds need to be updated and more closely watched to prevent problems. i think allowing interested buyers to post in the fs thread would be a step in the right direction in getting responses out of sellers.

People need to stop there *****ing.

and you should learn to read the rules your self, cause all the ones you stated.. are already in place.

one of the reason why for sale section is read only because, this way everyone gets a fair chance to present their thread.

if people start posting and asking questions in for sale sections then other people thread gets disappear with in hour, because other threads are keep getting bumped up by buyer posting into sellers thread. Hence the rule ONE bump per day by seller. this also stop from sellers friends or family or even the guy they dealt with before from posting "bump for the great price", or "free bump, great seller" etc.

i hope you under this reason, i am not saying you, but most people fail to read the rules, and thus fail to understand how some section works on this site.
