optima battery problem
#2
i would think if the battery isn't holding a charge, it is dead. normal batteries usually become useless if it drains to a certain level, sometimes could be fixed by adding distilled water but with the optima, i dont think you can do much in terms of making it "work". also, how old the optima battery, is the warranty still good?

go talk to the shop that you bought the battery from.
i also had the yellow top and it died on me after 1 year, 1 month. it seemed charged, but when i cranked, the voltage dropped to near nothing.
Optima yellow tops for the Integra/Civic seem to crap out more often than not.
i must admit though that i'm quite suprised Interstate (Optima's parent company), gave me a refund after a year when it was supposed to be 'pro-rated' and over. good luck dood!
