Opinions on H22a's...
hey guys, just wondering what people want have heard about the H22 and your thoughts, got offered an h22a hatchback for my d16 coupe... wonderin if its worth it.

I'd find out what more is wrong with it, other then the front end stuff like to you told me. Like why would he want to trade for? Because it very well could be a stolen car.

from what ive heard (being an ex prelude owner) h22s are awesome. very powerfull. BUT they are heavy.

well the transmission is kinda shitty on it, 2nd gears hard to find and all feels like theres not much gear there, but thats just a tranny tahts an easy fix for me :) time for a new one! :D, the car just had bodywork and this kid doesnt know how to do much motor/engine wise.. so it was either fix it for cash or trade straight up >:) ive got some pics...wouldnt mind trading it for a b18 tho :)

im ditching the rims already :P, wanna get me some rotas..
|
32 way adjustable suspension...with it as well >:), i guess it was 1,100 for the suspension... im thinking H2b?!

bump, need more opinions!

i personaly dont like h22. maybe because of the tranny that my brother has but i just dont like it.
also its very likely that it will burn oil...most h22's burn oil lol |
well this ones got 65000kms on it its still a baby... doesnt burn ANy oil as it sits right now.. and id convert it to an H2B if i got it...
|
i have a H22a in my integra... doesnt burn oil... the motor/tranny is not much heavier than the b18... i read a whole thread on it... its only proportioned differently... so the h22 is a little more top heavy... not that big of a deal... but it is nice and torquey so as long as it has lsd tranny ull be fine... or else ull be burning a lot of rubber.... also i like the long gears compared to the b-series... the only better thing with B series is its more popular so theres a lot more used parts lying around in peoples garages...lol..
