and to MPR, yes "hot rod" still exists, it's defined as a motor vehicle in which the original motor has been replaced with a motor of a type not installed by the manufacturer on that model of motor vehicle for the model year designated for the motor vehicle by the manufacturer.

im trying to make this work for me right now actually, going to talk to people on monday at the MTO and the Drive Clean Center and see exactly what i need to do.

Can you tell me about your motor ? do you have an aftermarket header ? Where is the 02 sensor placed on it ?

You should need a shop to hook you up with a test if you car not modified. you should able to make it pass or get a conditional pass for the next 2 years

my dc2 has a full cat back, cold air intake ect and a chiped ecu and i still pass

As long as you have a fairly new 02 sensor and catalytic converter, most cars will pass.
