A fresh paint of your silver would look hot. Not to mention my EG is painted and I paid to have all the door seals and trim painted so it would'nt look ghetto, but mine did'nt cost me twice as much to get it done?? You should shop around getting the trim painted should'nt be that much?
bodyshop i charging me 1100 to change the bumper , paint the whole car including the trims and fix a couple of dents i have

I decided to just painted the same colour ...as much as i want the orange i just dont have the money to pay for a full paint job (inside and outside) .. thanks for the advise guys .. i still would like to see someone painting it that colour i think it looks sick

Ask them to spray extra coats of clear coat on it for you.

the orange looks good but it definately needs to be jammed and respray the engine bay, imo the silver looks too plain. and its not a show car so it only needs a couple layers of clear, if its a good bodyshop they'll generally put a couple coats on it

Clear coat protects the paint.

When you polish your car you are not polishing the paint, you are buffing the clear away to make it look flawless. So the thicker the clear, the more protection the paint has, and the longer it will last, you can buff and polish and wax to your hearts content.

There are 100000000000000 silver cars on the road, and a good percentage are 4 door civics.

I'd go with the orange for originality, and I like the colour.

i agree with you ... But to be honest i would have to pay twice as much just to get it orange plus all the paper work

I m actually planning on keeping this car for 1 or 2 years max. I m actually trying to save up some money to get a 2010 camaro (hopefully) or something better

I dont think you see that many silver cars with brand new paint from that year ....

I ll talk to my bodyshop and see if he can add more clear coats...

I was all for orange until i found out that my bodyshop does not want to paint just the outside and leave the inside silver ... Also if i ever want to sale the car it would be hard to get someone to buy a car that is half paint

not sure about any paint codes/ variations for the silver but something you can do is ask him to put some metal flake or pearl in the paint, just something to make it a little different from the rest

They are all kind of nice in their own way... I personally like the satin silver in the first civic above. However i m not sure how he got it to look that way... In the post he put it was a respray.. however the second accord does not look as nice ..
