Okay,

I just checked the weather forecast and it looks like rain for sure tomorrow with a 90% chance in the afternoon. Sunday, it looks like 40%. 40% is better than 90%. It also looks like a lot of people will be working on Saturday.

When I originally posted, the weather was supposed to be sunny and a high of 14 on Saturday and rain on Sunday. Well, that's changed. Also, if we went to Niagara on Saturday, some people might be able to stay later to enjoy the "activities".

I'd be willing to change it to Sunday if I people prefer that better but I want to confirm numbers... I know this is last minute but if more are willing to come out on Sunday, Sunday, it will be...

I'll go with the same schedule...

Mark

P.S. RCE^RKT, yeah, we'll meet up at the parking lot at Port Dalhousie but it might change to Sunday.....

Well, Sunday doesn't look much better at this point. At least no one is posting they really want to go on Sunday. I will stick with my original plan and go with Saturday.

James, Pat, come by, to McDonald's. I'll be there for breakfast, lets cruise out to HD in Stoney Creek and see what kind of numbers we get. I think if there are at least 6 cars, it should be good enough. If there aren't a lot of people, let's just have lunch somewhere and decide from there. Since it looks like there isn't anyone from the St. Catharines area coming out, I don't see much point trying to meet anyone there. If there are, please post...

Also, if this doesn't work out, we can plan for another cruise next week...if the weather cooperates. I don't mind going out again...

This is not an official event. Anyone can join...non-members, even people who drive (big V-8 powered, convertible) domestics... We are not prejudice...

It looks like you live in 'Sauga, so come to the McDonald's at Sheridan if you wanna join us. Feel free to invite friends...

Mark

P.S. If you have FRS, Please bring it.

Well, the cruise happened. It was a small turn out indeed but it was nevertheless pretty good. How many cars? 3 and we had one more join towards the end.

The cruise consisted of meeting at Sheridan,
driving along the lakeshore to Burlington,
across the QEW to Centennial then HD (no one there).
Down Centennial up the Escarpment to Niagara Region road 20.
Drive down to Niagara Falls,
Niagara Falls to St. Catharines via 20, 58, 406...
Lunch in St. Kitts,
Drive back onto 20 via 406.
Across 20 back to Stoney Creek,
Meet up with Ryanhook,
Go home.

I put on over 300 km today. The weather wasn't that bad. It stopped raining after lunch. Overall, all things considered, it was pretty good.

Now, if anyone is interested in going next week, I would be up for it.

Mark
