Soup up for what purpose?
AutoX = 3rd gen
Coolness = 1st/2nd gen
Nostalgic = 4th gen
Easiest to do = 5th gen
Streetable Performer = 6th gen
Street Respect/Envy = 7th gen SiR / RSX Type S
Street Smart Daily Driver = 7th gen coupe

civic are way too expencive and way to hard to find parts for...
but they are very orignal so i suggest you buy one of each
then go paint them all in the same color (peferable silver)
hook up your moms and sister with the ones you dont like when you are all done.
(psst make your own judgement on this we are all way to biased, if you asked which one do you own you would have got the same results (cept those 4th gens they are embaresde by thier cars))

I prefer 4th gen. Because of the CRX. I still think it's one of the greatest affordable car's Honda put out. And 14-11 year's later, it still look's great. Also you could make a killer sleeper with a 4th gen!
