Like squeaks, rattles, etc. Same with the interior...quality is more than the look or feel. About Hondas rusting...ppl don't know how to take care of a Honda. BTW...have you seen how many Neons (Chryslers in general) have the paint lifting and peeling. My ex-g/fs Neon had to get repainted under warranty since the roof and trunk had about 1/4 of the paint peel off!!!
Agreed.

Sure I like a car for its performance and it is something that I look at when evaluating a car, but build quality and reliability are more important to me. I sit in the car every day and don't want to look at a cheap plasticy interior and have the interior rattle like an old TTC bus. To each their own though.

Just to add to that... the WRX is a rally inspired car.
The SRT is a Street Race and Track inspired car... that's what SRT stands for if I don't recall wrong.

That car out accelerates even the new Z, the Porsche Boxster, and a whole bunch of other cars. I'm sorry to say.. the SRT is fast..

I don't think I'd take one still.

sarcastic bastard It was quick man... 0-100kms in 7.3 seconds, and 1/4 mile in 15.8secs. It felt fast, but after 200K kms it ran like crap. Actually, I do respect all factory turbo cars...no joke. It's just that some are better executed than others. Honda City turbo

I remember someone tried to boost a 1st Gen CRX with a turbo from a Honda City.
Never heard the outcome though...

SRT 4 vs. WRX then later a Talon.

Apparently the Neon has MBC set for 15-16psi or so.

Found it on the net.

Anyone been to the auto show?

I got this....http://www.topsecretjpn.com/aerokit/Toyota/vitz.html

its on its way. 108hp, 0-60 in 8.5-9s stock, standard LSD, 35mpg/40 mpg highway. The Turbo that you see is not the TRD turbo package, that one makes 288hp just like the car in Gran Turismo 3, too scary. But this is a reality

http://www.yarisland.com/nav/vitzrs/vitzrs.htm

Only 150hp TRD tuned - intercooled, race ECU, sports supension. These are part of the packeage.

If you go to toyota.ca click on the blue echo hatch. wait for it to load and click on the guy with the bicycle on the upper right corner, the cartoon bubble should say "personalize your Hatch" See it with the body kit.

You should see the stuff that Toyota gives you. Lifetime rust protection, 3 years anywhere in North America, including US road side assistant. Don't pay a cent. Not like my Honda dealer, they charge you labour.

There is alot of tuning for the echo, it is what civic should be, turbo. Honda never made any turbos. Somebody at honda should of realized this along time ago. Every car company has a lease one turbo car, except Honda.

I can't think of the top of my head a turbo made by Nissan, BMW, Aston Martin, Hyundai, and KIA. How about Saturn and Buick? Than again.. I think some of GM's pickups are supercharged.

Honda has factory turbo cars in Japan... Nissan = SR20DET, Aston Martin has supercharged engines, Hyundai has the WRC effort, Kia has the Paris-Dakar trucks... not factory turbos... Saturn and Buick, those are GM... GM has/had turbo engines -- Buick T-type Regal and Buick GNX come to mind, 3.8L i/c'd turbo.

Ohh..

Maybe these cars I listed were because none of those supers and turbos are available in CAnada.

You can't buy a Honda factory turboed or supered in Canada.
You can't get a Nissan factory tc or sc in Canada.

Aston Martin may have Superchargers in their lineups somewhere else in the world but in North America.. none of their engines come supercharged. If I'm wrong.. correct me and tell me which model.. the Vantage and Vanquish are the only ones they make for North America (possibly the world) and they don't come s/c.

Hyundai you can't get turbos or super in Canada.
KIA.. Damn man... Those cars you could blow and they'd go from here to Niagara Falls.
