Cool Official tire shine thread

Just wanted to see what kind of tire shine you all use... I personally like my rims and tires minted at all times so I always try different tire shines... still haven't got to all of them... so just wanted to see what everybody around here has to say.

Here is what I have tried and my ratings.

Turtle Wax Wet Shine: Endurance- 3/10 Shine- 5/10

Voodoo Tire Shine: Endurance- 3/10 Shine- 3/10

Autoglym Tire Shine: Endurance- 5/10 Shine- 7/10

Meguiars Hot Tire Shine: Endurance- 6/10 Shine- 8/10

Meguiars NXT Tire Shine: Endurance- 6/10 Shine- 10/10

Meguiars Endurance Tire Shine: Endurance- 10/10 Shine- 9/10

armor all extreme tire shine gel. lasts for weeks, and i have never seen an off the shelf tire shine get the sidewalls so shiny. in my experience its pretty durable too, one application lasts for a couple weeks.

I don tlike "shiney" tire sidewalls. I do however like them to be black and clean though.
I use a great product from Autobahn detailing called Aqua bead by Malco.

Ive used "Black Magic Titanium Wet Tire Spray"
I'd say a "deep" shine lasts for about 2 weeks, and a dull shine for about another week

Gonna give Meguiars Endurance a try next time

I've always used Meguiras Endurance. Gives a nice deep wet looking tire, and it last a while too.

hey man, if you want best bang for your buck, IMO you should go with the Meguiars endurance... its a gel tire shine, comes with a foam applicator... it has a nice shine and can withstand rain!

also give the Meguiars NXT stuff a try it shines amazing.. doesnt last as long as the endurance one but it shines better.

I use that stuff too. But if you put too much or don't let it sit/dry up a bit, it'll just sling it the goo up into your fender liner. And that makes your next car wash day a bloody mess.

Has that happen to you as well?
