nuub info..

I want my 07 DX-g to be an everyday driver but I really want to take it out onto the track on weekends and kick it,,,,, 30/70 with track driveability takin the 70% chunk

what kind of setups do you guys recommend turbo vs. non-turbo etc.
Im asking this so I can reasearch the right root..,

basically I want max power, least weight, most fun, and something I can granny drive around on the roads to get to work and back.....dont mind switching b/w street tires and racing tires, and so on to keep daily drivin legal.

or just suggest the best tune shop in ontario to hit up to get my info. tunning needs... thnx all... you've all been really damn helpfull so far

Both are good options. IMO. you prolly like your car and don't wanna get a new one, ***** aside. so if a swap is out then bolt-ons is all you got. your not gonna build a dx motor for less then a swap and get enough out of it to justify doing so. reducing wieght is gonna be up to what you ca do without in your car, A/C for example.

Just so you know, there are pretty much ZERO performance parts available for the R18 motor. Even suspension choices are very, very minimal.

I originally got the dx-g cause i didnt want to swap out an si engine and I wanted a car wit 'ballz' indeed....... I saw a LS2 swapped into that tiny saturn 2seater....sky or something and an LS1 engine swapped into an RX-7..... and im not saying thats what I want..lol... just saying Im keeping my options out there.....

I really would love to put an s2000 engine in there if possible but i have no idea, gonna have to find out all this info cause they're comp. diff.
thats why I want to find the best honda garage in ontario or even buffalo, somewhere around here.....lol

I wouldn't mind even a V6 if it will fit...so ya
at the moment Im paying too much money for rent, car, insur. my bussiness, OSAP, and so ****en on, so I have a year to research and plan while I pay the rest of my **** off - gotta love it

Are you kidding me?
Have you opened the hood on your car at all?
That tiny engine barely fits in there.
You think you're going to be able to fit a V6 in?

Your best bet for more power and still staying driveable.
Would be a K24a2 with some bolt ons/KPRO.
Better brakes, lighter rims, better tires, and a good suspension set-up and you will have a lot of fun in that.

To be honest get the thought out of your head about swapping anything other then a 4cylinder in your car.

If you want a V6...buy something with a V6.

in your case, considering your bills and stuff.... this is what I'd do: buy some track rims with good (maybe used) race/semi race tires. track your car stock on these rims for a couple of seasons. once money is less of an issue, either get a dedicated track car or mod your DX with coilovers, swaybars, and a K swap.
