Unhappy no faster than 15.6sec

well anyone that knows me knows my car. once a d15 baby blue 4th gen civic. well now its a green mangled mess. this morning on my way to school i tryind to change lanes and got cut off. not bad i figured i could get over, when the lady infront of me slammed on her brakes! so i did the same and slid and barely nudged under her rear bumper. I was thinking, oh man this sucks! but i didn't get to finish that thought when i got rear endded by a suburban doing like 40km/h! long story filled with meny twists and turn, shortened! my car is fucked beyond repair, and im getting charged with careless driving to boot! I miss my car already!
thanks just venting!

Damn man!!! NO!!! It can't be a write-off...after all the work that you put into it?!!! I'm sorry to hear that man. Are you ok? Did you get hurt in the mist of all that twisting? I hope you are ok...remember, a car can be replaced, but a person cannot...

Don't forget, he initially rear ended someone to start this whole unfortunate accident, which is likely why he got charged. I'm guessing the Suburban driver also got charged?

Sorry to hear about that though, at least you are alright. Hopefully insurance will be kind to you.

Damn Dave, I lost my first 4th gen Si by getting sandwiched on the highway... and it was within 2 weeks of me buying the car. I too was "at fault" because the car that hit me from behind pushed me into the car infront of me making it look like I was too close to them. Damn technicalities.

It's a shame that the car's a write-off but it's probably for the same reason mine was too — the age of it. Sorry to hear. I know you put a lot of work into it.

First and foremost I'm glad to hear that your ok. What road did this happen on? 401?

You should definitly make sure that you get yourself cjhecked out b/c injuries can pop up out of nowhere. I would worry about the charge b/c I'm sure that you can fight that and get it dropped if you tell what happened. How bad is your car? is it totally wrecked or wrecked enough just so insurance says that it is a write-off?

Oouch....sorry to hear it...That's an *** raping if I ever heard of one. No car and a charge to boot. You need to fight that ticket...just take it to court and explain what happened. The prosecutor will likely be symphathetic. Good luck bro and I hope you are okay!

Dave..NO WAY!!

I feel for you.

IT must really suck.
Regarding the careless driving ticket..uhmm i think you need to take this one to court in a major way.

If that lady didnt do what she did then you would not be in this mess.

Make sure you get all the information from Xcops or whoever.
I think you should fight this one cuz you will probably win.

Good luck Dave!!

BTW are you getting anything back for the car?

Keep us posted
