You can't have it but still keep the bottle disconnected and keep it empty so if they check say i use it for show and they gonna check and they gonna see its empty they gonna believe you most likely

really...so having a tank of nitrous full hooked up is illegal, even tho the valve is shut? I thought it was fine if you have the proper plaquards on the outside of the car, stateing that you are transporting dangreous goods (as cheesey as that sounds, ive heard it before)... and what is the fine for having the O2...?

I know this may sound stupid but i thought you have to have a sticker on your car stating you are carrying a volatile gas/substance...much like a sticker you see on the tanker trucks transporting the liquid nitrogen or liquified oxygen...

(b) order the driver or owner of the vehicle to remove nitrous oxide, or the part of the nitrous oxide fuel system comprising the canister, bottle, tank or other store of nitrous oxide, from a vehicle and dispose of them appropriately.

Sample analysis

Section 172.2 etc. posted by Si Veloz is part of Bill 20 which HAS NOT BEEN PASSED!!!!! The Ontario legislature has recessed for the summer so the earliest this could become law is in the fall. At this point in time there is absolutely no law whatsoever against having a fully operational nitrous oxide system installed on a street driven vehicle.

Very interesting...Thanks for the input guys...I hope that law doesnt get passed otherwise somones gonna have to invent a remote line disconnector, much like the remote bottle opener! I guess it wouldnt work anyway since the connection cannot be within reach of the driver

So why do people get fined right now if there is no law against it?

It's dangerous if you don't know how to use it.
Like said in the first movie (you know what I'm talking about) 'Amatures don't use NOS.'

Only comercial vehicles need that card (placard) on the vehicle. Privately owned vehicles don't need it.

As for what Si Volez posted....not a bill yet.....until then, expext to get tickets for what a cop THINKS is illeagal.

Did you know that propane is used to boast the horse power in deisel trucks and cars, just like nitrous oxide does for gasoline engines?

Propane is NOT illegal....so why is nitrous oxide? Think about it.

HA...you are so right! And besides, we all know the reason why they give people with n2o a hard time,(hmmm speeding, racing, bacically what all the immature morons do that ruined it for us), cuz it sure as hell isnt because its a dangerous substance, its not even flamable, yes it assits the combustion process and it is highly pressurized, but would you rather have a can of propane in your trunk during a crash instead?...hmm
