At least there were no injuries or deaths.
That's a lot of vehicles being recalled.

They are doing the right thing and getting handle on the situation - early - unlike Chrysler - who's trannies in all their minivans would die after 40,000 kms. Then all they would do is stick in another trans that had the same problem and if would fail again another 40,000 down the road. People would have to do a ground up rebuild in order to get some sort of life out of them. Why do you think they gave a 7 year warranty??? This went on from 1990 up to 1999....

after only 10 high mileage failures??? Honda is so good y0!!

There are thousands of VWs catching fire, MAFs crapping out, pwr windows rolling down on their own in the middle of the night, etc etc and no recalls yet. VW just says "**** you suckers, and thanks for buying german"

And Intrepids puking out their engines, they haven't recalled those? And so many other companies!

Thank God for Honda

Honda related info should be in TCC discussion. it makes for easier searching later.

this is an automotive website, right? why would you post this in the off-topic forum?

That's a huge recall!! But it's good that they're acting on it after only 10 reported problems!

As for another car to add to your list that has numerous problems, the Ford Focus!! I think that it's got something stupid like 10 recalls on it and the Insurance Institute in the US wanted Ford to just stop selling those pieces of crap.

Yeah the tranny on my buddies 99 Caravan is completely shot

Dump a bottle of Wynn's Transmission **** once in a while and it keeps it on life support.
