Newest addition....

to the bbarbulo family of vehicles... 1991 Honda Civic DX sedan - got this one last night so I don't know what kinda shape it's in... drives nice, doesn't look rusty at all... main things I saw were done axles and a busted exhaust axle pipe... and it's auto But the ratio has improved in the household... 3 Hondas, 1 Saturn, 1 Suzuki, and my dad's VW. Soon I'll put up a Honda flag

cuz I used my CC card unwisely when I was renovating my house STUPID!!! won't be making that mistake again, but I was forced to cuz my income/credit ratio was very poor, so I couldn't get a line of credit for the renovation work This time when I buy another house I'll save enough money for downpayment AND reno's so I don't have to worry about bills after the fact.

which 4 dr? j/k

I was just checking the specs on the cars - 2137lbs curb weight vs. the 98 Civic which is 2319lbs.... a B18B1 is a cable tranny 140hp motor, and prices are around $800-1000 I imagine for a complete and good condition swap. Then Koni yellow ($800), with 99-00 SiR springs and shock perch set at the lowest setting should get me the right rates with the correct stance. EX steering knuckles, 92 Prelude rotors re-drilled, and 93 Accord wagon calipers bolt on and provide a substantial increase in brakes.... for a price of about $500... mount kit for the B18 is another $600 or so, and then nice rims and tires to top it all off, about $1200. Then paint and body, $2000. It WOULD be a nice sleeper, but this "budget" setup I just lined up is still more expensive than what I'd like. A budget "budget" setup would consist of Koni red shocks with SiR springs, and a SOHC VTEC swap instead of the B18 swap... most likely with the same brake setup....and not touch the body; this brings it into "doable" territory and I can guarantee that it would really rip new a-holes at the track....however, I won't know it's potential until I tear it up and see what's underneath. But yes, you did read my mind... I've had dirty thoughts like this all night. I think I'm sick in the head

blue currently, but I saw in the classifieds someone has all black interior peices, and *someone* has CRX seats in his basement and I think they are black or gray

but also the thought of no interior and an aluminium dash has crossed my diseased mind.

Well, my Prelude has a F20 in it, I could use that... except I don't want to because I'd like to keep that one as a permanent winter car unless something miraculous happens with the Samurai.

Cablerat, I will not disgrace the Civic marque

94EG6HB, that looks good. It looks almost exactly like that, sans sunroof. It's a DX so it has power nothing.... I just looked at it, and the body is real solid... only rust I found was in the bottom of the rockers, and behind the rear tail light midsection, but the latch on the decklid is broken, so I might just get a whole new trunk. The glass is mint, the interior is dirty but complete and in good shape it seems...
