I recently joined the site, i'm from the East coast, and its nice to have a change of pace, site is great. But i have a question and i hope someone may know some information for me.


I recently purchased a USDM GSR swap from 400 auto wreckers in Hollands Landing Ont., it was in a red 96-98 civic, not sure if it was a coupe or hatch, etc. The swap was out of a 99 or 2000 GSR, has a skunk2 pro series intake manifold, AEM cam gears (red), a cut AEM cold air, modified for the intake manifold, and has a Megan 4-1 header. The car also had Hasport copy mounts, and has a brand new ACT HD pressureplate and street disc. I took the motor apart and it also has PR3 pistons in it. I think there is more stuff done, just hard to tell without knowing about it. I have the motor apart now as it was smoking from the valve seals from sitting. I assume it was in the scrap yard for a couple of years.

The car was a theft recovery, and the only other thing i can tell you is it had Tein HR coilovers and had a rear disc swap, other than that, thats all i got. Does anyone remember or know anything about this car, would like to find out more about the motor. Just thought since it was from your area, someone might remember it or know of the person it was stolen from.
