New Project Member

Hi Guys,

I have been checking out TCC forever, but have never had a cam to document my project.

SO...... for all of you out there who know how much blood, sweat, and tears go into a project here are my pics.

Keep in mind that these pics were from when i bought the shell and dragged it into my garage. The project itself has overgone some serious work lately and I will be updating the pics as I continue with the work.

I am sure I will be asking a few tech questions in the meantime, but more questions regarding parts for sale.

Peace

Trev

chris_si98 19-Dec-2005 09:43 PM

did u buy the shell off a guy named Travis?

Turbo4U 19-Dec-2005 09:46 PM

Good-luck with the work. Any motor plans?

forumbyrne 19-Dec-2005 10:00 PM

Bought it off of a guy named Mike, went to college with him.

Motor plans unfortunately arn't what I would like, but as I had mentioned before im on a super tight budget.

As of yesterday a d15b went into it mated with a si tranny, and replaced all of the essentials with that ( ie, belts, clutch, h2 pump, flywheel machined, etc. ).

Turbo4U 19-Dec-2005 10:15 PM

Nice, nice, its all in works

imported_Team Rukus 20-Dec-2005 12:14 AM

good project to work on. but seems like there is waayyyy to much things that need to be done. i dunno if this project ever will be done properly if your on tight budget.
but if you can pull it off kudos to you.

kwasley 20-Dec-2005 12:59 AM

ya...like team rukus said, if your on a tight budget now, its going to get even tighter, hang around the for sale forums though. There are alot of cheap parts you can get at.

Thanks for the insight guys, and I have realized what I have gotten myself into....... a little more than originally expected. haha.

Buuut, I am going to make sure everything is done right and sacrifice the time for now.

Thanks guys,

YES, I agree shes in pretty rough shape..... but I got alota lovin to give. Haha.

Eric, your bumper already gives the front end a MUCH more desired look. Thanks again.
On that note, im still searching for a decently priced rear disc conversion, suspension setup, hatch door, and front fenders.

Let me know if you have some kickin round.... the new year will bring some serious purchasing.
