Welcome to TCC. first get suspension, then I/H/E, rims & tires, HID's, lip kits, the list goes on and on and on. Boost it.

he doesnt HAVE to do that if he gets a proper tune after "doing up" his car he can be at par with us standard drivers

make your car to your liking and get a tune

btw raw performance might be a bit jumpy you should get well-done performance

I don't think so bro.
If you build and tune an auto and a manual the exact same , the manual will walk the auto. Unless the driver of the manual is a complete tard.

Auto is just not the same. If you want power, either build your D and turbo or swap a B series n turbo that.
Also by raw power how much power you aiming for? Guessing not over 300whp since you got an auto civic. No offence but stock auto trans won't hold the power if you will be pushing the car often. Plus auto on track=fail

ya but this car will also be his daily driver (sorry im assuming here) so if anything he'll be in a couple of street races and take it to the track a couple times.

yes manual trannys are more reliable and can handle more power but (again assuming) theres no way he's going to utilize all of his horses on daily driving if its a track car no way an auto will cut it but daily driver and auto is ALRIGHT

i already decided to take out the tranny and make it manual... i got the car as is for a grand and the body is very clean so to me a grand was worth it wich gives me some money to play with... im thinking of going for a type R conversion (trany and engine) plus turbo cold air intake and custom ecu..etc but still thinking i wanna do my research well

OP what are you power goals? How often will the car be tracked?
Also thing to remember, you can have lots of power to the crank but will you be able to put it down to the floor? Things like suspension, tires, lsd?
So first I think you need to decide on the power goals and what the car will be mainly used for, then we can help you out.
Ps. Please do just start naming random "mods" you know names of but don't know what it is. Like CIA on turbo? What? You have a lot of homework to do.

You brother.

Theres a'lot more to it then saying I want to put in a type-r swap with tranny then a CAI with a Turbo with a flux capacitator and some headers with a custom ECU???

Do some homework so you don't look like a fool and hope you have a huge budget.
