So I change my oil, top up on Ultra 94 Gas, wait all morning at CT to get an e-test, pass it with flying colours, and go to renew my validation sticker... but the clerk doesn't ask for an e-test.

I drive a 98, so this year, I'm up for an e-test, right?

Oddly enough, this has happened the last two times I've gone to renew my plate stickers. Just wondering what's going on..?

they may not ask for it, but it stays on your reccord i beleive or the place that did it send the results to the mto?

some shops put your e test result into some system of the mto's so they dont ask you for the paper since they already had it in their system. its online or something like that.

Yep, I even got stickers at the Oshawa Kiosk after my e-test last year. Never asked for any information on my test.

Did mine 2 weeks ago and the kiosk didn't ask. I believe the information goes straight to MTO. Less headache for us drivers I suppose.

om your renewal paper you get it it doesnt request one then you dont have to do it. maybe you didnt read it properly. i think you missed the part about not requiring one for this year.

the results go right to the ministry as soon as the inspector finishs the test at the testing facility. accually they recieve the info before i even see it
