Needs Advice!!!

Hey i have a problem... today i was driving down the linc(hamilton) around 5'00 and i lost control (going 120khm) of my car and went off the curb and landed onto the other side of the on ramp.. and now my front brand new bumper is f*cked and as soon as i find out what happen.. i took off, and i was wondering if you guys know if i should go buy a new bumper(900) at the honda dealer or go shop around and see if they can repair it?

you will probabbly have a hard time finding a bumper for a 2004 car in the wreckers... either keep the bumper on to remind you not to be stupid... or to learn how to drive... there should be no reason to end up in the ditch on the linc

you can have it plastic welded at a motorcycle body shop (where they fix fairings) but I really would rather see a new bumper on your car. Parkway Honda is an affiliate, if you become a paid member, you get 25% off parts at Parkway.

first off all let me give you some of these:

second:
I would be concerned with any other damage. Sounds like you jumped a curb in the process.

Things to look for:
see if you car pulls to the left of the right when you steering wheel is straight.
bent wheels/rims - go get your tires balance again
alignment - is probably off if you jumped a curb, get an alignment.

drive safe

Understand, all he had to do was ask where he can get a bumper and leave out the details as to why he needed one. It's an open forum and you KNOW he was going to get slammed for his mishap. Not saying that you are wrong in defending him, but he opened the door by stating what he had done.

I agree with Jooksingkid, there may be more damage than just the bumper, might want to get that checked out.

My two cents

Definately won't be able to find a 2004 bumber at the wreckers. I'd say just join the club, and purchase one from parkway.

No doubt, I agree, but you know how it is in here and the fact he admitted he was doing 120 on a ramp...............don't think I need to say more.

Oh well, I am sure he has learned his lesson and he is still getting advise on what to do.
