need ur opinions

I currently have a 96 civic si with 200000km on it. My friend is planning to sell his 93 vigor gs. He's gonna swap the engine which has 200000km with a 50000km engine. He's also gonna change the timing belt, water pump and whatever there is so it's in good working order. What do you guys think? Is it worth the trade?? How much do you think I can sell my civic for? I was thinkin 5500?

well do you want to buy an older car? a low km engine isn't everything, plenty of other stuff can fail and since that car isn't as popular as civics what about parts availability

yeah i would say ummm def stay with the civic, if the body is in god conditions that car can literaly last forever with proper care, hell 200,000km on a civic means very little, it should still drive strong and you should have plenty life in it, when the engine goes do a swap. parts for a civic are much more widely available over a vigor.

Vigors are the red headed stepchild of Soichiro Honda

Vigor sucks. It has less room that the civic at the back. They are 5 Cyl engine and they are hard to fix and maintein. They have a lot of problems with those cars just to let u know. Keep the civic brb.

You should get 5500 for your car. But I wouldn't trade it for a vigor that's for sure.
