Save your money.

Invest your money.

Vehicle modifications are not good investments.

the gr head seems like a waste of time to me...
and I think he meant is the head swap worth it, and if someone thinks of putting money into there cars as an investment, they shouldn't have money!

GSR head on a b16 is a waste.

If you wanna do anything swap the GSR bottom end in and use the b16 head.

Or if you really wanna keep the b16, use an ITR head....the GSR while raising the compression a whopping .2 of a point won't really yeild any benefits over the b16 head. The ITR however uses much better cams, dual valve springs on both intake and exhaust valves, has better/lighter intake valves and a mild port on the intake ports....along with a nice intake manifold, larger bore throttle body and better header

yeah, im done with the project car nonsence.

once the del sol is done, i quit....

not worth it.

i've dumped MAJOR money into vehicles..

del sol is easily reaching 35/40g total when it's all said and done...

will i ever see half that even? nope.

clean your car, make it reliable....dont go nuts.
not worth it

*shakes head*

$35/40g??? what the excuse my french did you do to it? holy **** I priced out my build that I'll be doing once I get the money and I probably over priced it by 3-4gs and it's only 10gs total for everything.

the car itself i purchased for this build ... it didnt see the road in my hands for more than the drive home before it got torn apart (3500)

the OVERHAUL in body work. all fresh new quarter panels. NOTHING spared...even the top window piece between the 2 a pillars was replaced with a new whole piece from honda (no aftermarket panels)..the stock one was too gross....not one damn stone left unturned. (4500 in body panels/body work/paint/shaving/kit)

full air suspension....full 4 way, 2 viair compressors. and not the small 380c's, but the biggest viair has to offer. 8 valves, fat 8 gal tank, wicked gauges, fat 1/2" air line. plus a 2nd set of bags/struts incase i have a blow out ever......(4000)

full hand stitched interior. even the dash is stitched. the interior alone was over . the seats wernt just reupholstered. they were REBUILT from the ground up. they are still the del sol seats, but with a bit more meat to them. (3200)

every single piece of the suspension was powder coated, as was under the hood (engine, and all the clips, etc). nothing left undone, even the swaybar...battery tie down, all the small engine bay clips, rear engine mounts, and more (1400)

full urethane bushings for the car. not ONE left original...even the power steering rack... (cant remember the price. 800 installed or something)

then comes the electronics.

full pc setup with wifi, 4 lcd screens, competition subs and amps, and far far far more. (5+++ grand)

then comes the engine build
b16, full forged internals, full turbo setup, new clutch/flywheel/pressure plate...nothing left undone... (engine 1500, pistons/rods/rings 1000, build labour and machine shop, turbo setup 3400, clutch/flywheel/pressure plate 600 plus dyno time, tuning costs/labour, 750cc fuel injectors)

and far far more.

this isnt some lip kit with a ebay turbo build and toms motorsports coil overs or tein springs..... this is everything from the ground up. the car was on blocks as it had NO interior, engine, or suspension...we took it all out to start from total scratch.
I cant even list off everything on my head. but i didnt go cheap anywhere. no cheap ebay wastegates and bov's, etc.

when you see it, you'll know why.... tally up what i've listed here. and that's not including all the small stuff i got/did that i havnt listed (new seals, new windows, door poppers, pager security system, and more more more)

it adds up very quickly. this isnt some rice cannon build. show level finish.
