Need Opinions on what car to buy
This isnt for me, but my friend.
Basically, he cant make up his mind on what to get. After a month of thinking about it, he's basically narrowed his choice down to two.
1) Subaru WRX
2) Acura Integra Type R
The wrx will cost more, and it will be newer. the type r would also be relatively new, like a 2001.
I really like both, and think that either way would be the right choice. The way we look at it is the same, the wrx is quicker and has more potential, but the integra looks alot better. However the integra is more race prepped, but doesnt have AWD. Stock i think we can say its a driver's race, but id give the edge to the wrx.
I, personally would choose the itr... wut can i say, i miss hondas =P
but he needs some more opinions

Long time no post eh??? lol
Hmm....tough decision.
I have to agree, the styling of the ITR is a lot nicer, and its a cool car. The ITR doesn't have as much power as the WRX, but its considerably cheaper. The ITR is also a car that is very popular to car thieves.
From what I've heard, the WRX is a real fun car...but expensive.
My choice: still debating currently.

Yeah, I cant even remember the last time i posted, but I did come to the mee last week! LOL
Anyways, we talked about theft, and the considering his situation, i think the car would be pretty safe taking into consideration where he works, parking lots at school, other cars he can drive instead if he needs too.

i'd say type r... i've always liked those cars... but i know one guy who bought one and had it stolen a week later
from magazines i've read the wrx only puts like 147 hp to the wheels... granted its 4 wd... but i think i'd rather a type r with a few bolts ons to even out the price diff

Fiesta errr... I mean WRX I've driven both the ITR and the WRX... the WRX is a lot more... well it requres some babying cuz the hood is aluminium, so rock chips are a real issue. New STi ones get PWN3D on cat **** gas... they have blown quite a few motors in north america... some other minor issues, like the ***** CEL light always coming on for no goddamn reason... but overall, it's a nice heavy, solid car.
ITR is a truly refined car at the peak of Japanese technology... IN 1994 that is!!! Remember, the 2001 ITR platform is really a 1992 Civic... Though it's one of the finest cars for the era, it's era prolly ended at the turn of the millenium... I love it too, it has it's place in history, not in my driveway.
