zero hp + sound
for few hundred i would change engine oil/tranny oil etc. full tuneup since you dont know what the guy did/did not do.

just take it to a crappy tire and ask them to do a safety, it costs 85$.
they will butcher you, and make a **** long list of things that are wrong with it.
you take that list back to the guy who is selling it and bargain with it...
just tell him the ride is falling apart, and you have a document that says so.... lolz...
plus there is a good chance they will catch any major problem with it anyways.

i got $1100 of my ride when i was buying it. (it was a private sale.)

just my 2 cents in...

The buyer agreed that he'll fix out-of-his-pocket whatever is wrong with the vehicle if it doesn't pass inspection.

what i meant was it doesn't mean that all those things are wrong, or need fixing, its just a leverage to get a deal out of the guy. Crappy tire is known for butchering people when it comes to safety.

It's set in stone that the deal is $5000
so.. not sure after that.

$6000 is a little high I think, even for a loaded Si. I'd offer $4000 and go up to $5000.
I would also buy a stock car, but not getting ****ed in the *** in the price.

I'll bring it to canadian tire to see what they'll pull up..
I need a real mechanic that works after 6:30pm mon-fri
that'll do e-test/safety/a big checkup.
