i guess the vtec controller just modifies the ecu to adjust the amount of air flow to the engine...and it modifies the VTEC point if you want...but im not getting that...not for my sohc.

Maybe if you find the equivalent for a newer model civic...

Honda Canada does have to carry this part because it was an accessory and is out of production...
