ok i got a

1993 civic dx 2 dr coupe
has 345,000 km on the body

its got a 1997 1.8 Ls motor w/ tranny
short shifter w/ type R ***
SiR front seats & rear are stock but in good condition.
si gauges w/ white indigo

the car needs a new paint job & the rear wheel well on the passenger side to cut out and replaced i got quotes for $2000-$2500 for total bodywork pacakage.

i would REALLY want to do the body work but the prices are a little steep for me.
but if i dont get a good price for it i will do the body work.



just wondering how much you guys think my car would go for

maybe should i sell it piece by piece??

question is ... do you still like the car ?
if so and u want to keep it for another few years , do the body work ... but do it real good !
sounds like a decent power plant and must run pretty good ?

but if u don't really care for the car and want somethin newer keep in mind u will start all over with mods etc ... or if u buy somthin done already ....

as for price $2500 ?
maybe 1500-2000 for the chassis
1000 for the motor etc ?

ya i love the car its my first love well ya LOL and my women. haha


i just dont have $2500 for body work all at once.

aslo people have vandalised my car more than once so its all keyed in to the steel. so im afraid some1 will mess it up after i fix it up .

i got a quote for just the wheel well on the passanger side and it was $400 hope thats good cause i think thats all i ll fix for now.

Dyam! 345,000kms on the body of a 93 hatch, that's a lot of km's.
I thought mine was bad at 380,000 for an 88 crx.

no, mines the worst, 406000 on a 92 hatch, looks awesome tho, with no rust, ist been well taken care of

All depends on how well it's maintained..

Mine is at 360K, but the body is in good shape.. Frame is in amazing shape.

Age is worse than mileage, to a certain extent..

AS for body work, that seems like a lot to replace 1 quarter and re-paint same colour. atleast for a decent job.

My civic needs quarters too. I'm planning on buying a MIG welder some time this summer and doing the panels myself. You could do the same, bring it by and I'll weld them on for you.

$400 sounds fair ... as long as maaco isn't doin it !

$2500 is a lot for the whole paint job for sure,
money well spent if the job is doen good !

to bad hondas get cancer in the quarters ....
