need help finding a toyota mech

Hello everyone

alright, heres the story
My aunt has a Toyota Rav4 (2002), its transmission went at 105 000 Kilometers...

its 5000 Km out of its extended warranty.. sucks huh..
anyways, as i've never owned a toyota before I can't even help her out.

Dealer wants 4400 for a new transmission.

can anyone suggest a shop that would have the transmission, or who can do it for cheap

Try OK Tire on Eglinton near Midland 416 266-4594, speak to Peter in service.
They are also a Kia dealership, but I had my tranny replaced there for a decent price.

Check and see if you can get a used one at a scrapyard...
