well there's no REAL answer to this question because it can vary depending on your goals and needs for the car but IMO i would get these...

intake --> ARC

exhaust --> HKS

intake systems are all the same man.. Just get whichever one you can find cheapest. I wouldnt spend 150$ or more on an AEM.

Exhaust system.. depends. loud? quiet? cat-back? muffler? price range? etc.

magnaflow's high-flow cat and muffler, hollow resonator on a 2.5" seamless, one-piece stainless pipe
get the quieter high-flow muffler so ya don't get hassled

arc intakes imo are the biggest waste of money.

do yourself a favour and get a used pipe and just buy a k&n cone filter yourself for 60-70$. Your just paying 150-200+ for the brand name, not performance.

If money does not take in effect then..Mugen Intake and Exhaust would be a Mugen or a Apex'i N1 cat back with 2.25-2.5" piping..pending what you going for and a nice header Toda or Vibrant 4-2-1 or 4-1 SS header with 2.5" collector..

From personal experience on my 98 Si...

I had a Magnaflow, Comptech and finally an SIR OEM cat-back exhaust.

I also had a no-name SRI, an AEM CAI and finally a stock airbox with a K&N filter (resonator removed and an 3"ITR intake arm).

Guess which combo I liked best?

Get a V2 intake for 99-00 SI (our SiR)

and a OBX Twinloop.

Or 2 1/4 piping (mandrel) and a magnaflow. and a nice tip.
