Lol agreed + shocker.
Op how come you are looking for a brand name intake and cheap exhaust lol doesn't really make sense. Get decent exhaust and order cai of eBay for 50$. All it is, is a tube with a filter attatched to it. My buddy blew 200$ on ram intake for auto sentra but later on realized that when I told him it was a waist of money he agreed with me... Also you could get some nice struts and drop the car 1.5" or so and you will still have a lot of clearance for pot holes.

I was looking at getting this exhaust:
http://www.********.com/product_sect...pid=351&cat=56

with this header:
TunerSPEC.ca - High Performance Automotive Parts & Accessories

first link is dead probably because of those ******** there.
well since your not really doing anything with the car performance wise, you dont need a crazy expensive header. i mean even those eGay headers provide a little bit more flow. but yeah TunerSPEC would be much better than eGay.
and this for decal-->
SHOCKER SYMBOL STICKER DECAL CAR BUMPER TRUCK WINDOW 4" - (eBay.ca item 320341334493 end time 16-Mar-09 18:01:00 EDT)

Nice decal bro.. haha the header is only $200 its not so bad I guess..
You don't recommend it?

GLK By Mercedes-Benz . The ultimate SUV by Mercedes. t e k n o t i k.com/product_sections/perform_disp.php?pid=351&cat=56

Just fill in the spaces

the only issue is when I have to re-do my e-test I'll have to take that **** out and put my old one back in etc etc.. what a pain

But really...building a fast d-series NA is not that exspensive and still cheaper then a b16 swap.
I can break it down easy for you.
FJT rebuild kit $300
Bisi cam and camgear $325
Aftermarket springs $150
I/H/E, I figure you should have that already? And a tune. Still cheaper and making more power then a stock b16.
considering that 99% of people on here would also have to pay for re&re of the engine ($600-1000) and the cost of machine work and assembly (easily $1000 if you wanna do it right) i'd say it would be cheaper to do a swap personally.

Like mentioned above you can get a b16 swap installed nowadays for $2500(ish).

To the OP:
why would you have to take that out to do an etest?
my g/fs bone stock 95 civic with an intake and header passed a legit etest no problem. As long as you keep the cat on there you shouldn't really have a problem.

550k, SRI big bore TB, skunk2 IM heat wrapped OBX header magnaflow cat and Skunk2 catback, stock internals and I got the car to pass at a CT where they are under the eyes of random testing from the government and thier own, to see if they're keeping the tests legit.

2 reasons for a SRI and not a CAI

1. less chance of hydrolock

2. the Sk2 intake made my CAI not line up with the hole it used to go through so that's why I converted it from a CAI to a Hot air intake.

to the OP. I agree with the majority of people here about not putting an SiR badge on an Si. not just because it's a poser thing to do but also after a while you'll find more and more people like t-mack, sicrid3r and myself with love for the little work horse the d series engines are. I say don't mod it at all... for now. read up on other's buiild threads to see what's out there, where they got it and for how much and if they liked it or not. and why or why not. figure out what your intentions are for the car also. the same things some might not like about a product may be what you want for yours. if you read up on a race set up car and see them hating on progressive rate springs but you wanna keep your car street driven and not have you GF complaining about every little bump cuz it's cold out and she's gotta pee and of course there's only two seasons here winter and construction....you might like the same spring someone else hated. same goes for the looks. if you wanna put euro lights in your car that's up to you, don't build a cookie cutter civic for fear of getting flamed but you prolly will get bored of parts that look fast and the furious, clean is timeless.

congrats....making your car say something it's not is just embarrassing. If you really don't like the si badge then have it removed completly and go badgeless. as stated, don't go bigger than 16's! lot's of little knick knacks can be found all over the web or for more meaning usefull things get in touch with our affiliates.

g/l and let the spending begin!

www.t eknotik..com/product_sections/perform_disp.php?pid=351&cat=56 (fill in the space between t and e)
and keep the cat converter on?
If thats a good exhaust I'll buy it this week..
also Yeah I won't get a SIR badge lol as thats gay to pose
my front grill came with a type-r sticker.. I don't think I'll put that on the grill either or should I?

haha I bought a type-r front and back lip and I'ma install that **** next time its warm.

I have some small rust spots on the car.. especially on the hood.. and some paint peeling on the right door.. Heres some pics...

What do you recommend for that..

Just for the record......Megan header and e-bay header are exactly the same.
The only difference is how much you feel like paying to have Megan tag welded on.

well, your going to pay quite a bit at a body shop to have that fixxed and repainted..

if you dont want to spend much, your better off looking for a used silver hood that doesnt have any rust and just replace yours.. then you can sell your old one and make a little..

CAI I would get off Ebay, or in our classifieds.. there going to be the cheapest..

Exhaust.. what kind are you looking for??.. you can buy a nice magnaflow/flowmaster for under 100 and have a axle back pipe welded up for 50 bucks or so.. has a nice deep tone..

Heres a few links to what muffler I used.. one is polished, one isnt..

you can go to performance improvements and pick the polished one up for about 80-100, natural one is like 60-80 I think

MagnaFlow 11226 - MagnaFlow Performance Mufflers - summitracing.com

MagnaFlow 14326 - MagnaFlow Performance Mufflers - summitracing.com

this is what it looked like on mine before I tore it off for the 3rd time.. ha ha.. dirt roads suck..
