if you have your mind set on a 93 civic.. and you want to keep the origonal engine go for a si .. there are many parts to choose from considering aftermarket parts its all about choice and budget..

welcome

welcome

most power would be the si...127 hp and 4 wheel disc brakes. short ram intakes are all pretty much the same..all are tubing with a k&n style filter, just get the one you can afford or find used, i have an AEM and no complaints as a short ram, full cold air intakes are pretty much the same as short ram...just more tubing

for exhaust any shop can hook you up with a performance system, be it cat-back, axle back or just a muffler, two types of pipe, the regular stuff and stainless..the stainless costs more but will last longer, the bends in the pipe could either be crush bent(pipe is crushed as its bent) or mandrel (stretched not crushed) which is better but will cost more

header and cams are beyond my knowledge...

ya well i suggest going JDM first look around there is some nice, hb on here, a teal one with a mugen lip, a nice
exhaust for a EG HB, is a
RS-R EXMAG2

springs/shocks
TEIN
front lip
MUGEN STYLE, you can get one from johnlo on the board, cheap 120$ i think
and some vision corners...
and some nice DELSOL SEATS, and your set....

as far as which model of civic, i suggest you go with a DX/VX/CX, its cheaper for insurance then a SI, and u will pay less for them, second, a swap is cheap and you can always do it as a hobby, my bro and me, do our swaps now in 6-10hrs.....so its all a learning exp. but i suggest u loose the 10hp and get a DX/CX pay less insurance, and get a motor later on, which you will need to anyway....

If you have the cash now, Id say look for a shell and then get a shop to put it in right away. I remember seeing a trick eg shell in classifieds for like 4-5gs already had a load of hopups, and it was repainted audi grey I think. Buy that and a motor and mate them.

stay away from an si..they have abit more power but are heavier and will cost alot more in insurance...get a cx or vx and swap in a d15b (direct drop in= cheap) and si tranny with i/h/e and you will have a peppy little car to boot around in...or swap a gsr in there and have 190 hp off the bat....basically just get a car first perferable lower model for light weight and cheap price then firgure where to go with engine choice or turbo charging yada yada....hks is good stuff.....

Leaving it stock = Cheaper
