My First Honda Civic

I am thinking on buying a 1997 civic. Its got everything done to it, coil overs, bodykit exhaust and so on. Its also got the SIR motor with a performance clutch. Does anyone have any idea how much hp this might have? Im just curious

147 HP for the SIR motor.. coilovers, body kit, exhaust and so on put it at 200+ easily.

THe clutch alone gives you 18 HP

but seriously, it will have stock SIR horsepower - drivetrain loss

assuming its a 99-00 SIR B series motor...the rated HP is 160 i believe.

yea stock 99-00 SIR motor has 160hp

probably do 140hp to the wheels on the dyno!...good motor to boot around in!

the body kit and fart can would turn me off
