i would go all motor cause i love the sound of high revving engines. why not just build the motor slowly on the side?
by doing this you'd be able to pick up a talon aswell cause your not dropping all your money at once. |
and will will need tuning for the all motor route as well, you forgot that in your budget.
|
Ah crap. your right. Add in anohter 500$ there.
|
Personally if you can afford it I would go turbo. It is just so much fun.
|
for all motor
and you forgot valves, springs and retainers... if you get a serious down to business cam, you will almost certainly need springs... |
^^ also true.
Chalk up some more money to All Motor |
yeah what sp said too, i was wondering why the all motor budget was lower than turbo, considering turbo is usually cheaper.
also what psi would you be running? cause you might need internal work as well for turbo |
endyn supercharger kit the b20

Don't get a talon. They leak oil constantly, and overall, they're not a good driveline. I know ppl are going to argue, just my $.02.

Both of which run mid 13's for little to no money. They go to the 1/4 mile track and beat on them day in day out...and they run fine with no problems. |

Planning on drag racing the vehicle??
If so the answer would be Talon... Civic can still be the daily driver. |
sorry wasn't paying attention, my bad
|
Drag only - talon awd. I wouldn't want it as a driver, though. JMO.

i like ur civic! looks soo Clean, love the color. u should have photoshoot one day and post it up! ur car is mint! :) |
Low boost turbo, cheapest way to have fun with a civic imo, plus once tuned properly its good as a daily driver.
You need some sort of engine management for it though, uberdata is free all you need to do is socket your ecu to make chipping easy when you make new fuel/ign maps. |
i hear that forged pistons and rods dont last too long?
|
go all motor, that way you keep the option to boost that next year if you want, plus eagle talons are a bigger investment then just buying the thing, maintaining it will probably cost more then the cars worth
|
lightly turbocharging the civic will increase gas mileage right??
