I think that if this post was in the "chit chat" forum, more people would see it.

By the way, sorry to hear what happened.

I hate thieves.

Didn't have an alarm, i only had the car for two weeks and already did the 5 bolt conversion, swap, etc. and was JUSt getting to the alarm, which was going to go in this week, tommorow to be exact.

At the time of theft the car had the club, doors were locked, and the starter was busted, i had to jump start my car everytime it had to be driven, starter went that same night.

wow, u had all that and they still managed to steal it..

Dude retrack your day and think of who you spoke too.

From the sounds of it. it was'nt a 5 minute job and someone must of known your away for a while.

From the sounds of it your car was a eye catcher so hopefully it will be found soon.

Good Luck.

The car was stolen with a tow truck, i am almost 100% positive.

Nobody knows/knew where i lived or so i thought. My car was registered under a totally different address, and so is my driver's licence and insurance because i was always afraid of this happening to me.

I wasn't followed because when i came home and parked, my neighbour was outside at 3:30am having a smoke (going through a mid life crisis or something) and i chilled with him then i walked around the hood and ate some snacks (was a nice night)...somebody either followed me BEFORE, or somebody randomly drove by and spotted it which is doubful as well. The street is VERy quiet and the neighbourhood has benzes and bimmers in almost every driveway, so i don't know why the **** they took my junker.

1.8 HB: same thing happened to my friend and there was someone home and they did not heard nothing. Not like his car was quite. Benz and Bimmers are pretty hard to take, even if you can get a bimmer or Benz, the parts are hard to sell. Everyone drives a civic, and they need parts, especially aftermarket.

Don't worry, now the cop came up with a new technology that allows the cop cars that are equiped with it to scan parking lots for registered stolen cars. It will only work if you registered your car as stolen. I don't think the guys that stole the car is going to drive around with it thou. My friend did loss his car but the insurance settlements is better. He got back more than what he paid for.
